Last minute changes to pre-meet schedule

I found out I have to travel to St. John's, Newfoundland for a meeting the same week I'm already scheduled to be away for the long weekend so now I'll have an unplanned 6 days of deload the week before the meet.  Most people would tend to schedule training this way but I usually like to train through meet week.  We'll see how the enforced rest does.  I'll still have a couple of workouts on meet week to train to openers and keep from getting form stale.

Today was volume squat day and overhead presses everything went pretty well.  I'm enjoying my non-painful shoulders and introduced a new movement, the press behind neck.  Those were humbling.  I have very limited mobility due to tight internal rotators (pecs mostly) and it was a struggle to try to rep out with only 65 lbs on the bar.  I was compensating something fierce by going into way too much lumbar extension.  Hopefully keeping this movement in the mix will improve my mobility.  As I type this, I can feel my rhomboids/lower traps wanting to cramp up.  I'll take that as a good sign as anything that helps balance out my shoulder girdle will be beneficial in the long run.

Squats:  135x10, 225x10, 315x5, 385x3, 425x2x3 sets, 385x4x3 sets  knee sleeves on all sets.

Overhead Presses:  135x5x2 sets, 185x5, 205x2x3 sets

Press Behind Neck:  65x10x3 sets

Pull ups:  5,4,4

Second time doing these and slowly making progress and regaining vertical pulling strength.

Face pulls:  50x15x3 sets
