Family Day squats

Thanks to the provincial government's desire to give us a three-day weekend in pretty much every month of the year, there is a holiday called, "Family Day" where most but not all people get the day off.  It felt nice to sleep in and then go to the gym without that pesky thing called 'work' in between.

Squats felt pretty good and I was able to increase volume of work repetitions.  My previous best was 14 repetitions over 3 sets with 405, today I was able to do 15.   I did only one of the two pause squat sets I had planned to do because my lower back was done.  I also skipped deadlifts because the lower back pump wasn't going away any time soon.  Instead I did some pull-ups, kirk shrugs, and hammer curls.  My left arm finally feels better so I figured it was time to start strengthening my elbow flexors to avoid future tweaks due to a weak link.

Squats: 135x10, 225x5, 275x5, add belt, 315x5, add wrist wraps, 365x5, 405x5, 405x5, 405x5, pause squats 315x5 2 ct pause in the hole.

Pull-ups:  5, 5, 5

Kirk Shrugs:  135x10, 185x8, 185x7

Hammer Curls:  35x10, 45x8, 45x7
