Back to bench press volume work

After two weeks of tapering and setting some new PR's, it felt good to get back to work building my repetition base.  I'm still doing all work reps with a pause since it's worked very well so far.  Bumped up the working weight another 20 lbs for two sets but dropped back down to 275 lbs after I hit the first fatigue stop.

Overall my workload for this session was slightly higher in average intensity but slightly lower in total work repetitions and total workload lifted.  A good start for the next 3-4 weeks of training.  After bench presses, I hit light high bar pause squats to loosen up my hips, some pull ups, kirk shrugs, and barbell curls.  I definitely don't enjoy barbell curls anymore but Vivian was doing bent rows so it was convenient to work in.  I don't enjoy bicep work because I'm weak at it so even though she has no desire to buy tickets to the gun show, in the long run, it'll be good for overall joint health.

Bench Press:  135x10, 185x10, all reps paused from here, 225x5, 255x3, add wrist wraps, 275x3, 295x4, 295x3, 275x5, 275x4, 275x4

High Bar pause squats:  135x10, 225x10, 225x10

Pull ups:  5, 5, 5

Kirk Shrugs:  165x10, 185x8, 185x8

Barbell Curls:  65x10, 65x10, 65x10
