Paused squats and bench volume work

Eating is still on plan and I've managed to make up the ground lost due to the Easter family supper.  Tomorrow I'm going to the Blue Jays game so I'll have some beers and probably at least one hot dog.  After that, the coming week is distraction free.  So far things have been going very well and I've expended little if any of my willpower reserves on making eating choices.

Staying with my plan to increase my total weekly volume of squat and bench press repetitions, I increased the weight used for paused squats and benched for the third day this week.  Everything feels good, no pain or stiffness in my shoulders, back or knees.

I'm pretty sure this is the first week I've bench pressed three times with weights 75% and above of my 1 RM in at least 2 years.  Feels good to not have any issues with my shoulders.  Pause squats felt pretty good as well.  I've been doing these beltless and the extra core work seems to be helping as the pause squats have been getting better each week.

Finished up with barbell rows, not as much as I'd like but we were out of time and the gym was closing.  Been trying to do these a little heavier with some momentum to get used to throwing around heavier weights.

Paused Squats:  135x10, 225x5, 275x5, 315x3, 335x3x5 sets

Bench Press:  all reps paused, 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 250x3, 280x3x6 sets

Barbell Rows:  225x6, 245x5, 275x4, 275x4
