Week 4, Day 1, pec day brah

We finally had an awesome weather weekend so Vivian and I played golf on Sunday.  The golf game pre-empted my Sunday squat and bench press session so I decided I would work 'chest' on Monday.  Falling into the bro-routine was to be my sacrifice for enjoying myself on the golf course yesterday.  Vivian played awesome, by the way.  I hit the ball okay but after going 1 over for the first 8 holes, regression to the mean reared its inevitable and cruel head and I proceeded to go 9 over for the next 7 holes.  In order to stop sh*tting my pants figuratively and to avoid doing it literally, I walked in to make use of the facilities and waited for our group to finish.  I'm pretty sure I could've played the last three holes in something better than 3 over if I had been devoid of abdominal cramps but my GI system conspired against me shooting in the 80's so early in the season.

not quite like this but it captures the spirit of the occasion

Anyways, I journeyed to the gym to hit chest with all the other bros.  Sure enough, all the racks were being used so I worked in with a guy.  Because he was just about done benching, I ended up benching and the incline pressing and then bench pressing.  After that, I chased the pump with some more chest work and finished up with two different types of pushdowns.

I felt pretty swole'd up but I'm sure I was just caught up in the moment.
