Week 5, Day 1, squats, bench press, and stuff

Looks like this week is going to be a two workout week.  Between holiday Monday and various summer functions and a work conference starting next Sunday, not as many days for training but that's okay.  Summer offers many distractions that I'm glad to enjoy as it gives me a nice break after a winter of lifting.

Despite a lower frequency, things still seem to be improving workout to workout.  I was able to increase my volume in all the lifts.

Squats:  45x5, 225x5, 275x5, low bar, add belt, 315x5, 365x8, 365x7, 365x6

Wide stance squats:  315x5, 315x5, 315x5

Bench Press:  all reps paused, 185x5, 225x5, 255x5, 275x3, 275x3, 275x3

The transition to a full 81 cm grip width seems to be going well.  Speed is improving and nothing is hurting.

Leg Extensions:  140x10, 150x9, 150x7

Dumbbell flyes:  55x10, 65x8, 65x8
