22 weeks out from Classic Provincials

Thanks to some awesome people that took pictures and videos at the competition last weekend, I was able to get some nice photos and video of my lifts.

So tonight's session is 22 weeks out from Classic Provincials on November 28-30, 2014.  Probably too many weeks to count down but time does fly unless one pays attention.  Provincials aren't necessarily a meet that I try to peak for but it is far enough out that it should be a good opportunity to gauge my progress.

Not sure if I'll be able to get to Nationals in 2015 but if  a work schedule conflict doesn't intervene, I do want to make sure I'm qualified.  I'm already qualified total-wise but one has to lift in the provincial championships in order to lift at Nationals so if I have to lift anyways, might as well try to make a good effort.

As usual, the post-meet hangover had my squats feeling very creaky in the back and knees but I was able to get through some fast sets of 5 with 365.  Strangely, my bench press didn't feel beat up at all and I was able to set what I think is a repetition PR with 255.

Squats:  135x5, 225x5, 275x5, low bar, add belt, 315x5, add wrist wraps, 365x5, 365x5, 365x5

Bench Press:  all reps touch and go, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 255x10 (rep PR), 255x6, 255x6

Leg extensions:  140x10, 150x10, 150x8
