10 weeks out, Day 4, sumo deadlift progress

My minor hamstring pull felt like it had healed completely so I decided I would get back to working on the sumo deadlifts again.  If things felt good, I would do singles until things felt shaky.  Warm up sets were fine as did my three singles ending with 495.  The 495 was slow but not super difficult.  I used a belt on the singles to make sure I stayed as tight as possible.  Aside from getting pretty light-headed on my last single, all the sumo reps felt really good.  I'm now about 90 lbs shy of my top work weights when deadlifting conventionally.  Barring any more hamstring tweaks, I hope to make up a fair bit of that ground before my next meet.   It would be awesome to be able to try it out in competition.

Sumo deadlift:  225x5, 315x5, 365x5, 405x3, add belt, 455x1, 475x1, 495x1

Deadlift:  405x5x3 sets

Kirk shrugs:  225x10x3 sets

Adductor:  110x12x3 sets

Abductor:  110x12x2 sets

Hoist crunch machine:  70x10, 70x10
